I have always understood the importance of storytelling for its ability to empower and connect. I developed a passion for storytelling at a young age. At a time when the stakes have never been higher for our democracy, I am committed to elevating the voices and stories of those who are working to make our country a more perfect union. 

 

At Kent State University, I reported, anchored, produced and managed KSU's award-winning television station, TV2 KSU, gaining skills that would seamlessly translate to political communications at WBNS-10TV and C-SPAN.

When I received a scholarship to participate in Kent State's study away program, Washington Program in National Issues (WPNI), I pursued a press internship in Congressman Tim Ryan's office. It was in this office that I decided my passions would be met by pursuing public service. 

 

Two years later, I serve as Congressman Tim Ryan's lead spokesperson and Communications Director.
